Get excited! - fun-loving design team The Cassette Society are bringing their bitchin' 80's inspired fashion to Sportsgirls across Oz with an exclusive collection that'll make you want to hit the dancefloor!
Kicking off the 2010 line-up of Aussie designers collaborating with Sportsgirl, The Cassette Society have created "Halcyon Days" - a collection that gets the party started with a fusion of retro styling, acid-wash denim and to-die-for accessories (sequin bag, anyone?).
Launched in 2007, the Sydney label has gained a cult following around Oz and worldwide with their pure pop creations for brave, sexy, rebellious, tomboyish girls everywhere.
Even if you have no idea what a "cassingle" is, The Cassette Society take the best of 80's nostalgia and mix it up with a good dose of club and street wear for a cooler-than-cool collection that is set to hit stores and online from the end of January.
The collab is just the start of an amazing line-up of up-and-coming designers set to join forces for the Sportsgirls Like collections, including Alpha 60 and Ellery, so watch this space!
2010 BLOOM COLLABORATION
The Cassette Society and Bloom Collaboration gave us the opportunity to create two shades that are the perfect accompaniment to our Winter 2010 Why Can't I Be You collection - an ode to the It-Girl, to her alternative posh-for-a-punk styling, her rouge lips, her iconic overnight case customised with her handstenciled skull, spilling with records and crazy getups and painted nails in gunmetal grey and denim blue. And we love the fact that $2 from every shade is donated to the Children's Hospital Foundation giving us the opportunity to mix our love of fashion with a great cause.
